Terms of Service
Last updated: June 18, 2026
Welcome to LLM Cash (the “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), available at https://www.llm-cash.com and through the LLM Cash editor extension. By accessing or using the Service — whether as a User, an Advertiser, or a visitor — you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What LLM Cash Is
LLM Cash is a developer-focused advertising network that displays short, text-based ads in the idle “waiting” moments of AI coding tools (for example, while Claude Code is thinking). Developers (“Users”) install our extension and may earn a revenue share when ads render and qualify on their devices. Because the ads render inside the User's own editor, the User is also the person who views them — the User is both the operator of the ad surface and its audience. Businesses (“Advertisers”) buy impression blocks that are served into those surfaces through an auction.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. Sign-in is by email magic link; you are responsible for the security of the email account you use and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
One account per person. Operating multiple accounts to inflate earnings, manipulate the auction, or circumvent limits is a material breach of these Terms and may result in suspension, voiding of accrued balances, and reversal of payouts.
3. User Terms
As a User, you install the LLM Cash extension, which displays ads in supported AI coding surfaces and reports anonymous telemetry (such as that an ad was rendered, was viewed for the qualifying duration, or was clicked) so that earnings can be attributed to your device and account.
To enable certain ad surfaces, the extension may, with your consent:
- read local Claude Code session files solely to determine timing and tool context (for example, whether the assistant is currently thinking) — it never reads, stores, or transmits your source code, prompts, AI responses, or file contents;
- temporarily modify your local Claude Code installation and/or your
~/.claude/settings.jsonin order to render ads in the chat panel or as spinner text. These changes are reversible and are removed when you disable LLM Cash or run the provided “remove panel ads” command. You will be asked to confirm before any such modification is made.
You may uninstall the extension and revoke access at any time. The Service interoperates with third-party software it does not control; we are not responsible for changes to those tools that affect the extension's behavior.
4. Earnings and Payouts
- Revenue share. Users may earn up to 50% of the net ad revenue that LLM Cash actually receives and attributes to qualifying events rendered on their devices; LLM Cash retains the remainder. “Net ad revenue” means the amounts we actually collect from Advertisers for the relevant events, after refunds, chargebacks, payment- processing fees, taxes, and any other deductions, as calculated by us. We may change the revenue-share percentage, the minimum threshold, the qualifying criteria, and the payout schedule at any time, including for already-accrued but unpaid balances.
- No guaranteed earnings. Nothing in these Terms guarantees any earnings, any minimum amount, or that any particular event will qualify or be paid. Displayed balances are estimates only; they do not represent a debt owed to you and do not vest as a payable amount until funds are actually disbursed to you.
- Qualifying events. An impression credits only when LLM Cash is satisfied, in its sole discretion, that the ad was genuinely rendered to and viewed by the User for the required minimum duration (currently five seconds). Clicks credit at a higher rate. We verify events server-side and may decline to credit, or may later reverse, any event we determine to be invalid, duplicated, self-generated for the purpose of earning, automated, incentivized, or otherwise non-qualifying or fraudulent.
- Sole discretion over amounts and timing. LLM Cash determines, in its sole discretion, the amount of any payout, when it is paid, and whether it is paid at all. We may withhold, delay, reduce, set off, or deny any payout — in whole or in part — including while we investigate suspected fraud or abuse, to comply with law, to cover refunds or chargebacks, or where we otherwise consider it appropriate. Our calculation of earnings and payouts is final and binding absent manifest error.
- Ledger. Earnings accrue to an append-only ledger as exact integer amounts. Corrections are made by reversal or void entries, not by editing history. The ledger records accrual only and does not itself create an obligation to pay.
- Payouts. Payouts are made through Stripe Connect, on or about a monthly schedule, once your balance reaches the minimum threshold (currently USD 10.00) and once the relevant events have cleared our verification and any applicable hold or clearance period. You must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and provide any verification we request to receive funds; you are responsible for any tax obligations on amounts you receive. We may require identity or anti-fraud verification before releasing any payout.
- Forfeiture. Balances below the minimum threshold at the time an account is closed, terminated, or suspended may be forfeited. Where we determine that fraud or abuse has occurred, all accrued balances — not only the portion we attribute to the offending activity — may be voided in full and no payout will be made.
5. Advertiser Terms
- Campaigns and bidding. Advertisers create campaigns and bid for impression blocks. Serving priority is determined by an auction that ranks active, funded campaigns by bid. Higher bids serve first; ties are broken by submission time.
- Payment. Campaigns are paid upfront via Stripe Checkout for the total block cost. Clicks are billed against the campaign's prepaid balance at the published multiple of the impression rate. A campaign deactivates when its balance is exhausted.
- No refunds. All bids are final. Amounts are non-refundable once any impression has been served against a campaign, except where required by applicable law.
- Moderation. We may reject, pause, or remove any campaign or creative at any time and for any reason, including content we consider misleading, unlawful, or inappropriate for our audience.
6. Acceptable Use and Content Standards
You agree not to use the Service to publish or promote content that is illegal, deceptive, infringing, malicious (including malware or phishing), sexually explicit, hateful, or that violates the rights of others. You agree not to interfere with, probe, or overload the Service, and not to attempt to inflate impressions or clicks through bots, automation, or any artificial means.
7. Fraud and Enforcement
We apply rate limiting, anomaly detection, and manual review to protect the integrity of the network. “Fraud or abuse” includes, without limitation: generating impressions or clicks that are not the result of genuine, organic use of an AI coding tool; using bots, scripts, emulators, automation, or click farms; artificially keeping a session active to accrue view time; operating multiple or coordinated accounts; incentivizing or exchanging events; tampering with the extension, telemetry, or our verification; and any other attempt to inflate or misattribute earnings.
Where we determine, in our sole discretion, that fraud or abuse has occurred or is reasonably suspected, we may take any of the following actions, individually or together: suspend or terminate accounts; withhold or freeze pending payouts; void all accrued balances in full and pay out nothing; reverse or claw back amounts already paid; recover improperly paid funds (including by set-off against other balances or by other lawful means); and report the conduct to Stripe, payment partners, or authorities. We are not required to pay for any event, or any portion of a balance, that is connected to fraud or abuse, and we may decline to pay an entire balance where fraud or abuse affects any part of it.
We may withhold payouts while an investigation is ongoing for as long as we reasonably require to complete it. Our determination on whether fraud or abuse has occurred, and on the resulting amount (if any) payable, is final and binding absent manifest error, subject to any non-waivable rights you have under applicable law.
8. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by LLM Cash or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service as intended. Advertisers grant us a license to display submitted creatives (ad copy, brand name, icon) for the purpose of serving their campaigns.
10. Third-Party Tools and Trademarks
LLM Cash is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic (Claude, Claude Code), Microsoft (VS Code), or any other tool with which it interoperates. All product names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify compatibility.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that earnings of any amount will result from its use.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LLM Cash will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid to us, or were paid to you by us, in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold LLM Cash harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Austria will have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or within the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
