Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
At LLM Cash (“we,” “us,” or “our”) your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights, when you use https://www.llm-cash.com and the LLM Cash editor extension (together, the “Service”). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
What the extension never collects
The LLM Cash extension never reads, stores, or transmits your source code, your prompts, the AI's responses, or the contents of your files. It reads local Claude Code session files only to detect timing and tool context (such as whether the assistant is currently thinking) so it knows when to show an ad. That detection happens on your machine; the underlying content never leaves it.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: your email address, which you provide to sign in via magic link, and your role (publisher, advertiser, or admin).
- Device identifier: a random per-install UUID generated locally by the extension and used to attribute impressions to your account.
- Ad telemetry: events such as that an ad was rendered, was viewed for the qualifying duration, or was clicked, together with the ad surface and timing. This is used to count impressions and calculate earnings.
- Payment and payout information: processed by Stripe. For advertisers, this includes the customer and payment records needed for checkout; for publishers, the Stripe Connect account used to receive payouts. We do not store full card numbers.
- Campaign data (advertisers): the ad copy, brand name, optional icon, and destination URL you submit.
- Technical data: IP address (used transiently for rate limiting and not stored), and standard request metadata.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate the ad network — serving ads, counting impressions, and running the auction.
- To calculate, attribute, and pay out publisher earnings, and to bill advertisers.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and invalid traffic.
- To communicate with you about your account, transactions, and the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
Where the GDPR applies, we process your data to perform our contract with you (operating the Service and paying or billing you), to comply with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting), and for our legitimate interests in securing and improving the Service. Where required, we rely on your consent — for example, before the extension modifies your local Claude Code installation or settings.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service:
- Stripe — payments and payouts.
- Resend — sending sign-in and transactional emails.
- Supabase — database and storage.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Cloudflare — distribution of the extension package.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the site. We do not use third-party advertising cookies to track you across the web. You can control cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
6. Data Retention
We keep account, ledger, and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. For auditability, financial ledger entries are append-only and are retained as part of our records. You can request deletion of your account as described below; we will delete or anonymize data that we are not required to retain.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Uninstalling the extension stops further telemetry collection. To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. International Transfers
We and our service providers may process your data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or within the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
12. Contact
